Walking on Uncharted Career Paths
May 19 - May 29, 2021
APCDA invites you to attend this international conference where all presentations will be in English. The audience will consist of delegates from many Asian countries and regions as well as other parts of the world. This conference provides opportunities for networking, sharing among practitioners, and identifying new resources. Breakout sessions will be divided into four tracks:
The audience will include career and school counselors, counselor educators, workforce development professionals, human resource professionals, and career development practitioners at all age levels and in all settings (school, college and university, government, business, agency, corrections, and private practice).
Due to the time difference between Singapore and ET, you have the option to attend the conference live (10 pm – 2 am EST) or view recordings (provided to all registrants).
Constructing Career Paths: From Finding to Designing a Work Life
Dr. Mark Savickas, author of Career Construction Theory, is professor of Family and Community Medicine at the Northeast Ohio Medical University and Adjunct Professor of Counselor Education at Kent State University.
Finding Hope in Liminal Space
Dr. Norm Amundson, co-author of Hope-Action Theory and Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia. Ms. Andrea Fruhling, Executive Director for the Hope-Action Group and a career and organizational coach and instructor at the University of British Columbia.
