CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES Programming: Contact presenters and work with them to plan and implement events of interest to PA career development professionals. Communications: Conduct publicity and social media activity to raise awareness of PACDA and our profession. Promote programs and services. Publish quarterly newsletter. Newsletter: Join the newsletter team to design the quarterly newsletter. This person is a member of the Communications committee. Social media: Instagram and Canva expertise especially needed. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy in support of PACDA's goals. This person is a member of the Communications committee. Event Promotion: Set up events in our event software, send emails via MailChimp, monitor registrations. Treasurer: Our former Treasurer will train you and be available to answer questions. Technology: You may be a tech geek, or someone who wants to develop their tech skills further. Learn how to use our membership software Wild Apricot and other tools such as Google Drive, JotForm, Mailchimp and Zoom. Partnerships Chair: We have two dedicated team members; we just need someone to lead our work to develop strategic initiatives with other professional organizations to expand the visibility of our association and our members. Fundraising/Sponsorships: PACDA is looking to create a new committee to develop a strategy for sponsorships by organizations that want to get their product or service in front of career development professionals, as well as explore other fundraising opportunities. | STANDING COMMITTEES Programming Identify speakers for in-person and virtual statewide professional development. Plan, promote and evaluate programs. Collaborate with the Communications Committee to develop materials and digital content to promote professional development opportunities. May also liaise with regional chapters, NCDA or multi-state event planners to ensure event success. Communications Conduct publicity and social media activity to raise awareness of PACDA and our profession. Promote programs and services. Publish quarterly newsletter. Membership Formulate and implement a recruitment strategy across all constituency groups. Process applications and engage new members. Develop membership benefits that enhance membership value and support membership recruitment and retention. Technology Update website and create new website features to support PACDA initiatives and membership benefits. Facilitate technology tools for virtual workshops, webinars and meetings. Set up events in our event software, send emails via MailChimp, monitor registrations, create post-event emails and surveys. Partnerships Develop mutually beneficial agreements with other professional associations. Finance Monitor income and expenses. Recommend fiscal policies and pricing for consideration by the Board. The Assistant Treasurer supports the Treasurer with money-related tasks or projects.
