STANDING COMMITTEES
Programming Identify speakers for in-person and virtual statewide professional development. Plan, promote and evaluate programs. Collaborate with the Communications Committee to develop materials and digital content to promote professional development opportunities. May also liaise with regional chapters, NCDA or multi-state event planners to ensure event success. Communications Conduct publicity and social media activity to raise awareness of PACDA and our profession. Promote programs and services. Publish quarterly newsletter. Finance Monitor income and expenses. Recommend fiscal policies and pricing for consideration by the Board. The Assistant Treasurer supports the Treasurer with money-related tasks or projects. | Membership Formulate and implement a recruitment strategy across all constituency groups. Process applications and engage new members. Develop membership benefits that enhance membership value and support membership recruitment and retention. Technology Update website and create new website features to support PACDA initiatives and membership benefits. Facilitate technology tools for virtual workshops, webinars and meetings. Set up events in our event software, send emails via MailChimp, monitor registrations, create post-event emails and surveys. Partnerships Develop mutually beneficial agreements with other professional associations. |
