PACDA is an entirely volunteer led organization. In order for us to serve the professional development needs of career development professionals statewide, your experience, skills and enthusiasm are needed!

Identify speakers for in-person and virtual statewide professional development. Plan, promote and evaluate programs. Collaborate with the Communications Committee to develop materials and digital content to promote professional development opportunities. May also liaise with regional chapters, NCDA or multi-state event planners to ensure event success.
Conduct publicity and social media activity to raise awareness of PACDA and our profession. Promote programs and services. Publish quarterly newsletter.
Monitor income and expenses. Recommend fiscal policies and pricing for consideration by the Board. The Assistant Treasurer will Support the Treasurer with money-related tasks or projects.
Formulate and implement a recruitment strategy across all constituency groups. Process applications and engage new members. Develop membership benefits that enhance membership value and support membership recruitment and retention.
Update website and create new website features to support PACDA initiatives and membership benefits. Facilitate technology tools for virtual workshops, webinars and meetings. Set up events in our event software, send emails via MailChimp, monitor registrations, create post-event emails and surveys.
Develop mutually beneficial agreements with other professional associations.
