In a recent review of communications research, listening intelligence describes a set of habits each individual uses to filter the information they hear. By understanding the listening habits of ourselves and those around us, we can optimize our communication.

So how can you build listening intelligence?

During this interactive presentation, we will discuss the meaning of listening intelligence and its importance to effective communications. Then we will explore the four ways we listen and the impact they have on what is heard.  Finally, we will identify ways to apply and harness listening intelligence in the workplace to build your professional effectiveness.
