Inclusive Career Coaching: Empowering Neurodiverse Clients and Students
Thursday 10/9, Noon-2 PM Eastern (Zoom)
This program leverages expertise from at least two (perhaps up to 4) coaches with experience in the academic and private sector. It will be a fireside chat format with the facilitator asking a series of questions (see initial list below) of the panelists. There will be ample opportunity for audience questions as well.

Previously VP & Director of Career Services at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Ed is a career coach in private practice and provides career support and job-search for neurodiverse adults, including Dx of high-functioning autism and AD/HD. Ed earned an Executive MBA as well as a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Joseph’s University. He holds the PCC and CoachU Core Essentials certifications from the International Coaching Federation. Ed has also completed the Conversational Intelligence program for coaches and is certified in the Hogan, MBTI, and Strong Interest Inventory assessments.
Sheryl Scott | LinkedIn
Sheryl is the Assistant Director — Career Counseling at Penn State University Career Services. She previously worked as a Vocational Rehab Counselor at the State of Pennsylvania’s Office of Vocational Rehab. Sheryl earned her Master of Education in Rehab Counseling from Penn State and a BA from Geneva College in Communications and Theater. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Case Manager, and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She primarily works with college students, but has worked with diverse populations of all ages and is passionate about neurodiversity awareness and disability advocacy.

Act 48 credit:
PACDA and PSCA members: After the event, complete the post-event survey, then email ceu@thepacda.org to obtain your certificate of attendance, which you can then submit via the PSCA website.
Not a PACDA or PSCA member?: You may be able to obtain Act 48 credit. After the event, complete the post-event survey, then email ceu@thepacda.org to obtain your certificate of attendance. Submit this to the Pennsylvania Department of Education via your local education agency, which will have the final say on whether this program qualifies for Act 48 credit. Or, you may submit via the Pennsylvania School Counselor Association for $10.
